Auguste de Sayve , 1790 (Grenoble)‒1834. An honored veteran of the French army (1812-1814), the Count retired to his homes in Paris, Belgium, and the Pyrenees, and engaged in a life of travel, literature and musical composition. Studied composition with Anton Reicha. Published some chamber music and a symphony.
